The Apostolic Federation of Madres of Paraguay began in PARAGUAY in 1995<\/h3><\/div>
At that time, fifteen mothers began the Pre-Candidacy in the first Course guided by their first assistants, Father Nicol\u00e1s Schwizer and Sister Regina Sobott, under the guidance of the Mothers\u2019 Federation of Argentina.

On May 6, 1997, with the First Consecration of the Founding Course, the Mothers\u2019 Federation of Argentina-Paraguay was officially born.

The same territory between two nations that fraternally welcomes all of them under the same mantle, that of the MTA, and under the same flag, that of Schoenstatt.<\/strong>

A new region,
PARAGUAY \u201cHEART OF AMERICA\u201d<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The new region, PARAGUAY \u201cHEART OF AMERICA\u201d, consolidated and grew in depth and breadth thanks to the support and guidance of the Federation Mothers from Argentina and their successive assistants, Fathers Javier Arteaga and Tommy Nin Mitchell (present); and the Sisters of Mary: Clarisa, Mariela Gonz\u00e1lez, Mar\u00eda Luz Afrontti, M. B\u00e1rbara Bazzana and Kathia Mart\u00ednez (present).

In 2019, the year of the Jubilee of H\u00f6rde, the Paraguay Region decided to present to the Territorial Council the request for autonomy and formation of its autonomous territory. In response to this, the Council sent the request to the General Presidium of Schoenstatt, who responded on August 28, 2020: the request for autonomy was unanimously approved.<\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Chapter<\/strong>

On November 13, 2021, the Paraguay Region held its Extraordinary Regional Chapter in which the capitulars voted unanimously YES to territorial autonomy.

On March 20, 2022, the Extraordinary Territorial Chapter was held in Florencio Varela, Argentina. By a large majority, it was accepted that Paraguay would become an autonomous territory.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Founding Chapter<\/h4><\/div>
On May 7 and 8, 2022, the Founding Chapter of the APOSTOLIC FEDERATION OF MOTHERS OF PARAGUAY took place at the Magnificat House, Asunci\u00f3n. On that date, the Mother Thrice Admirable of Schoenstatt was crowned as Queen of the Mothers\u2019 Federation, culminating the spiritual conquest worked since the beginning of the process of autonomy.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
Territorial Constitution<\/h4><\/div>
In June 2022, the General Presidium accepted the Territorial Constitution of the Mothers\u2019 Federation of PARAGUAY and, in September of the same year, the new territory actively participated in the Founding Chapter of the International Apostolic Federation of Schoenstatt Mothers held in Germany.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Currently, the Mothers\u2019 Federation of Paraguay has two regions (North and Center) and nine courses; five of them with Perpetual Consecration, one with 2nd Consecration, two in Candidacy, and one course in Pre-Federation. There are 69 Federation members in Asunci\u00f3n and its surroundings, 14 Federation members in Encarnaci\u00f3n \u2013 in the south of the country \u2013 and 20 candidate mothers in Pre-Federation<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Calls to build the GOD\u00b4S NATION<\/strong>

The Apostolic Federation of Mothers of Paraguay feels called to renew the commitment to the heritage received from the first sodalists of H\u00f6rde.
