Spain

A small and schematic summary of our first Mothers’ Federation course in Spain (Madrid).

The origin and the desire of the Mothers’ Federation began in the Jubilee of 1999 in Santiago de Chile, to which Sonia and Maria Luisa took part from Spain. This is where the seed was sown.

The desire of the 1999 Jubilee became reality in 2003chile

Later in 2001 Elena also became interested in this vocation to the Federation and finally on October 4, 2003 a meeting was held to form the first group of Mothers’ Federation in Spain.

It was formed by: Maria Luisa Erhardt, Sonia Arróspide, Elena Churruca, Mercedes Conti, Maria Nales, Maria Cervigón and Ana Coll. Our meetings and training began for several years.

In February 2006 we traveled to Schoenstatt as a course and presented our official request for incorporation as a course in the Mothers’ Federation to Father Angel Strada. There we also met Sister Luciane.

Yours I am always Mary

In November 2010 we traveled to Schoenstatt to make our First Consecration.

In November 2013 we officially joined the first course of Mothers’ Federation of Spain and we discovered our course symbol: the image of the “yes of Mary” that is represented on the door of the tabernacle of our Shrine in Pozuelo.

On October 18, 2014 we traveled as a course to Schoenstatt and sealed our Blank Check in the Original Shrine.

On November 11, 2015 we made our second Consecration in the Shrine of Pozuelo in Madrid.

In February 2016 we traveled to Germany (Metternich) to make our third consecration and implantation in the Garden of Mary.

Finally, on May 21, 2017 we made our Perpetual Consecration.

We are founders

We have had formation time, we meet every 3 weeks, we have annual retreats and fellowships where we strengthen personal bonds and do different apostolates within and outside the Schoenstatt family.

As founders of the Mothers’ Federation in Spain, everything has gone very slowly, but with hope and capital of grace we ask the Blessed Mother to give us many more courses and we are grateful for our wonderful course.

With affection we greet you from Spain and we ask you to pray for us.

Sonia, Elena, Mercedes, Ma. Luisa and María
